The number of tourist arrivals to Tunisia hit 6.232 million during the first 8 months of 2023, marking a jump of 62.4% compared with the same period in 2022, according to data released by the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts.
This rise was driven by an increase in the number of tourists from France (up 23% compared with the same period in 2022), Germany (+66.3%), Italy (+25.9%), Switzerland (+36.1%), Spain (+76.1%), the USA (+37.1%) and Canada (+23.7%).
