Morocco’s Tanger Med Port has taken the fourth top position in the Container Port Performance Index (CPPI). With 193.48 points, the Moroccan port positioned itself among the four ports that topped the 2022 index. Compiled by the World Bank and S&P Global Market Intelligence, the report aims to establish itself as a reference for stakeholders in the global economy as well as port authorities and operators. In addition to Morocco’s Tanger Med Port, the UAE’s Khalifa Port comes third place, while China’s Yangshan port tops the list, followed by Oman’s Salalah.
