In Manama (Bahrain), during the “AAIOFI 21st Annual Shari’ah Board Conference”, in the presence of the Ghota of Islamic Finance, Vice President Pietro Paolo Rampino and H.E. Sheikh Ebrahim Khalifa al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) signed an agreement for the creation of the first Observatory of Islamic Finance in Italy, involving AAOIFI, LUISS Business Schooland the Joint Italian Arab Chamber of Commerce.
It was also an opportunity to present the English version of the book “Sukuk between ethics and Sustainability the Italian System” (https://lnkd.in/dQckCuFE)
Islamic Finance, also known in Europe as Alternative Finance, aims to reach 5 trillion dollars in trade volume by 2025.
