JIACC: MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The board of the Joint Italian Arab Chamber of Commerce convened at the Ance headquarters in Rome, on May 2, 2023. 
 
The Board Meeting brought together an array of distinguished individuals, including President Cesare Trevisani and Vice Presidents Yousef Al Maimani and Pietro Paolo Rampino. We were honored to have the esteemed presence of H.E. Dr. Khaled Hanafy, Secretary General of the Union of Arab Chambers, H.E. Enes Mekkawy, Ambassador of the Arab League in Rome, and H.E. Sheikh Khalifa Al Thani, representing Qatar. Furthermore, the Board Meeting witnessed the participation of esteemed representatives from various influential organizations. This includes the Oman Chamber of Commerce ( غرفة تجارة وصناعة عُمان) , the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, utica, ITA – Italian Trade Agency, Triboo Group, Promos Italia , Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, SACE, and several other prominent Italian and Arab board members.
 
During the board meeting, a range of essential matters were addressed and successfully approved. Firstly, we are delighted to report that the 2022 budget concluded with a profitable outcome, marking a significant achievement for the chamber. Additionally, an extensive strategic plan for the year 2023 was adopted, outlining the chamber’s objectives and activities for the upcoming year. 
Lastly, we are pleased to confirm that the agenda for the current year, including the Arab Italian Business Forum scheduled for November in Rome, has been finalized and officially endorsed.
