Cdp Real Asset, the asset management company of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (70%) with Acri and Abi, is launching a fund of funds to invest in infrastructure with a focus on sustainability, with a target fund size of EUR 500 million.
Its main areas of focus, explains a note, are energy and digital transition, circular economy (e.g. biomethane plants) and renewable energy. Its first investment will be 30 million euro in the Sustainable Securities Fund (Ssf), managed by Alternative Capital Partners sgr, a closed-end alternative investment fund that aims to support Italy’s energy transition through small- to medium-scale infrastructure projects, mainly greenfield (at least 70%), with a focus on energy efficiency, circular economy and renewables.
