Jordan records $1.671b tourism revenue in Q1 2023

Tourism revenue amounted to $1.671 billion during the first quarter of 2023, an 88.4 per cent increase compared to the same period of last year, data by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) revealed on Monday. According to the data, Jordanians’ expenditure on outbound tourism rose 68.4 per cent during the January-March period of 2023 compared with the first quarter of 2022, reaching $422.3 million, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
