The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) released a report Monday showcasing the size of trade exchange between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in 2022, as it grew by 13.5 percent, compared to 2021, to record $10.4 billion.
Egyptian exports to Saudi Arabia increased by 11.2 percent to hit LE2.5 billion, while imports from the Gulf state rose by 14.3 percent to become $7.9 billion. As for Saudi investments in Egypt, their value in FY2021/2022 was $491.7 million, growing by 51.1 percent.
