Roberto Scalia named member of the Scientific Committee of the African Tax Research Network (ATRN)

Prof. Avv. Roberto Scalia

Our Tax Commission Chairman, Professor Roberto Scalia, has been included among the members of the Scientific Committee of the African Tax Research Network (ATRN) hosted by the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF) whose mission is “serving as an African network that aims at improving tax systems in Africa through exchanges, knowledge dissemination, capacity development and active contribution to the regional and global tax agenda“.

Another great achievement for JIACC. “As the JIACC involves African States, we are proud for this new achiement“, Pietro Paolo Rampino – co-founder of the JIACC and Tax Commission member – said. “The Tax Commission was set-up around five months and steadily begun one of the most authoritative source for businesses dealing with GCC tax issues” he concluded. “Since we are building an inclusive framework, we aim at expading our network including more and more African Tax Experts . I am very thrilled and honoured to be part of the Scientific Committe of the ATRN and, according to the JIACC motto, I’ll do my best to “build bridges” among tax experts through Italy, the Arab States and the rest of the African continent” concluded Prof. Scalia.
