Egypt-Italy: Maire Tecnimont signed a partnership with Carbon Holdings

Maire Tecnimont, through its subsidiary Tecnimont, announced that the signature of a preliminary agreement with Carbon Holdings for the construction of polyethylene units to be built at the Egyptian petrochemical complex, located in Ain Sokhna.

Source: Finanza – Carbon Holdings, founded by Basil El-Baz, is a private company that develops and manages downstream projects in the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors in its country. The agreement, reached on a direct negotiation, includes Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) activities. The onshore portion of the work will be carried out in a consortium with Hassan Allam Construction (one of the largest Egyptian construction companies) and Consolidated Contractors Group S.A.L. (among the most important contractors in the Middle East, based in Athens). Tecnimont is the leader of the Consortium.
