Italy kept its place as the world’s seventh-biggest manufacturer in 2016, according to a ranking compiled by the CSC research unit of industrial employer’s confederation Confindustria that was released on Wednesday

The CSC said that Italian industry was recovering from the crisis “despite a growth in loans to business that is still too weak”
